Howie, I don't know if you remember me but I was part of the Presidential Support Security out of Travis AFB, in the early 1980's I worked with Lt. Col. Harrison and Lt. Col Darrel Greene. I was eventually assigned to the advance team and worked about 17 missions over three years from 1981 to 1984. I then left and was stationed in Bitburg Germany and witnessed another historic trip. I was standing on the tarmac and President Reagan recognized me and and I popped a salute and he returned it and Nancy waved. A friend of mine took the picture. We posted on our website www.707sim.com which I am the Chairman. We put an Boeing 707 Flight Simulator in the Reagan Library which became the cornerstone of the Air Force One Discover Center. My family and I went to hear about your experiences with all the Presidents at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valey on Monday, Feb 8, 2010. As a matter of fact, as my daughter and I proceeded downstairs, you were the one that said it's in that room.What a thrilling experience to know, you were the guest speaker.
