Congratulations Howie you are FAMOUS! I had no idea this was where your life took you, you should be very proud of yourself. When your book makes you even more famous I can proudly brag and say Howie was a friend and a classmate in high school and can tell a few stories of my own. I live in CA but I read the Suffolk County News on line every week and this is where I read about you and your book which I can't wait to read. Way to go Howie! Sincerely, Marilyn

Howie! What a wonderful surprise to see you stories are in print! We always said you should write a book! Holly has taught both of her kids your "Eeny Meeny Tempateeny" rhyme. It's a hoot to hear them rattle it off, just like you taught her! We miss you in our lives and can't wait to read your book!

Hi Howie, I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was an augmentee with you during the Reagan years. Did lots of flight with you. Loved flying AF1. I just ordered your book and can't wait to read it. I retired in 97, and I miss the people and the travel. I married a secret service agent, and we are retired in Savannah. Looks like you are enjoying life in Cape Fear. My husband was on Bush 41's detail when he was VP. Sure do miss those great days of the Regans and Bushes. Take care.

Howie, its great to see you in pictures. I was there with you, but I served with Nixon, Ford, Carter, Bush Sr. and Reagan as the maintenance ground crew on 2600 and 2700 aircraft. I even knew you before you came over to the Presidential section. take care now and will be seeing you around at the airport. Keep up the good work.

Howie, you are a very engaging and fantastic speaker! It was a pleasure meeting you at Snyder in Fayetteville yesterday. I went on your website and ordered your book. I cannot wait to read it! It will be my pick for my bookclub. Thank you for your service in the USAF, serving our presidents. My book club is going to love reading about your part in our American history.

Howie, I don't know if you remember me but I was part of the Presidential Support Security out of Travis AFB, in the early 1980's I worked with Lt. Col. Harrison and Lt. Col Darrel Greene. I was eventually assigned to the advance team and worked about 17 missions over three years from 1981 to 1984. I then left and was stationed in Bitburg Germany and witnessed another historic trip. I was standing on the tarmac and President Reagan recognized me and and I popped a salute and he returned it and Nancy waved. A friend of mine took the picture. We posted on our website www.707sim.com which I am the Chairman. We put an Boeing 707 Flight Simulator in the Reagan Library which became the cornerstone of the Air Force One Discover Center. I also have a good friend at the Reagan Library, Robert Haseley who is a docent volunteer. He give me your contact info. I will try and contact you shortly. Thanks and I hope we can continue to do some great things for history.

My family and I went to hear about your experiences with all the Presidents at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valey on Monday, Feb 8, 2010. As a matter of fact, as my daughter and I proceeded downstairs, you were the one that said it's in that room. What a thrilling experience to know, you were the guest speaker. You have been one lucky and hard working individual and so glad three different generations in my family were able to listen to you and crack us up at the same time. We truly enjoyed U. Thank you for coming to our City and hope we get a chance to make your acquaintance in the future again. Enjoy your speaking engagements. P.S. I work for United Way of Ventura County as the Campaign Division Director at eliebman@vcunitedway.org and if you wish to send a few great words, I would love to hear from you. Best Wishes, Eve Liebman
